TYRE FITTING PROCEDURE

  • Check the condition of the valve and if necessary replace it.
  • Rims have to be clean and in good condition. Lubricate tyre beads with special
    emulsion for ease of fitment.
  • Orient the tyre according to mark ROTATION on the sidewall.
  • Put on the tyre with a special tool (finish at the valve).
  • Inflate tyre up to pressure (3.0 to 3.5 bar) in order to assure that tyre beads seatproperly on the rim.
  • Decrease tyre pressure to the recommended value.

RECOMMENDED INFLATION PRESSURE

Recommended tyre inflation pressure varies according to rider weight, circuit grip, ambient temperature, etc.
Riders should vary the inflation pressure to find which is best suited to their riding style to obtain maximum tyre performance.

RECOMMENDED VALUES OF INFLATION PRESSURE:

Front tyre
0.9 2.5 bar (RACING tyres)
0.8 2.2 bar (for RENTAL tyres)
0.7 2.0 bar (for REINFORCED tyres)
Rear tyre
1.0 2.6 bar (for RACING tyres)
0.9 2.3 bar (for RENTAL tyres)
0.8 2.1 bar (for REINFORCED tyres)
